To assure that your skin retains its' moisture levels, use an appropriate cleanser...not bar soap.

Your skin has a protective covering referred to as the acid mantle. It provides a limited barrier of protection from bacteria and also against moisture loss. Bar soaps are alkaline based and strip away that protective barrier resulting in a loss of moisture. Use one of our cleansing scrubs, Cool Mint or Tropical Treat, to promote, not rob, your skins' moisture. The only facial cleanser you will ever need. No toner necessary. Safe and effective for all skin types, even the most sensitive.

All of our products are formulated in a base of "True" liquid Aloe Vera, not a gel or inferior grade. Aloe Vera has the ability to penetrate human skin almost four times faster than water. Cheaper, synthetic ingredients found in most other skincare products tend to stay on the skins' surface. Aloe and the other natural ingredients we use in all of our formulas also help produce anti-aging effects on the skin and stimulate cell renewal.

In 1994, we decided to manufacture our own tanning and skincare products because of the lack of quality ingredients used in other products. Chemically-based tanning and skincare products were not preparing the skin properly and some of our salon customers were getting breakouts or allergic reactions. The quality has improved somewhat, but we still find that our products produce better results for our salon and internet customers than that of other products on the market.

Thanks to our great chemist, we were able to create skincare products using expensive "top grade" ingredients and price them realistically. By selling the products directly to our salon and internet customers, and not through a distribution network, we have been able to keep the pricing under control.

Cool Mint and Tropical Scrub Ingredients:
Aloe Vera- Known for its hydrating, softening and soothing properties. Has the ability to penetrate human skin almost 4 times faster than water. Known to produce an anti-aging effect on the skin and stimulate cell renewal. Believed to help heal sunburned skin. Note- All of our products are formulated in a base of "True" liquid Aloe Vera, not a gel or inferior grade.
Extracts of Hops- Derived from the carefully dried pineconelike fruit of the hp plant grown in Europe, Asia and North America.
Rosemary- An oil from the fresh flowering tops of rosemary found beneficial to the skin.
Horsetail- Helps eliminate excess oil from the skin. Rich in minerals to help rebuild injured tissue.
Pine- An oil derived from twigs and needles used in bath oils.
Lemon- Fruit extract used as an astringent to reduce alkalinity.
Apricot Kernal Oil- addition oils added to promote skin softening.
Hyaluronic Acid- A natural protein found in the fluids around the joints and converted to an oil.
Menthol & Wintergreen - Extracts obtained naturally to give that "cool" feeling to the skin after use.
Tea Tree Oil- An essential oil from the leaves of an Australian tree (Melaleuca alternifolia). Purported to have antiseptic properties, and has been used traditionally to prevent and treat infections. Penetrates the skin quickly and accelerates the healing of skin disorders.
Eucalyptus Oil- Used as a skin freshener and antiseptic.
Papaya- Derived from fruit grown in tropical countries that contains an enzyme that can dissolve necrotic (dead) material. Medicinally used to prevent adhesions.
Citrus Extract (alpha-hydroxy)- Derived from citrus fruit by fermentation of crude sugars. Used for pH adjustment and as a toner and skin freshener.
Micro-Scrub 22- micro-sized granules that exfoliate dead, lifeless skin without causing irritation. Most cleansing scrubs contain harsh particles, like crushed walnut husks, that irritate and cause redness.
Peppermint Oil (Mint Scrub), Mango Extract (Mango Scrub)- Fragrances derived from natural organic ingredients (herbs) and food extracts to reduce the possibility of allergic reaction.
Other Ingredients (triethanolamine,carbomer 940, dmdm hydantoin,)- Chemical preservatives and thickeners have been added in minute amounts for product consistency and prevention of bacteria contamination.
