Indoor Tanning The Same As The Sun?
Whether tanning
indoors or in the sun, ultraviolet (uv) light is utilized to
activate the skins' melanin and, ultimately, produce color
change. The source of the uv light may be different but the
result is the same, except that with indoor tanning you have
a better chance of getting the exact effect you want.
Outdoor tanning occurs in an uncontrolled environment.
